“I’m not a painter, I’m a writer!” I’ve repeated this to myself all of my life until one day I found a watercolor painting tutorial on YouTube. The next day, I bought a paintbrush (or two), a tin of paints, and a pad of watercolor paper. My writing desk quickly became my painting table and watercolor became my focus.
